Dumfries, VA: October 30, 2017- Cambio announced today that Romano (Rom) Mascetti has been appointed to the company's Board of Advisors, effective today. Mr. Mascetti is a former Deputy Assistant Secretary for Information Technology Resource Management & Chief Financial Officer and Office of Information & Technology (OI&T), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
Mr. Mascetti will be appointed to serve the board as an advisor. Mr. Mascetti brings to our board an exceptional background in finance, budget management and human resource as well as acquisition strategy, customer operational relationships, multi-year planning and programming, workforce development and capital assets management.
Before joining Cambio, he served as VA’s Associate Deputy Assistant Secretary (ADAS) for Financial Policy. He was responsible for policy development in payroll, cost accounting, and debt management as well as overseeing VA’s internal control program under OMB Circular A-123, as well as the production of and reporting on VA’s consolidated financial statements. With more than 40 years of dedicated VA service, Mr. Mascetti was recognized for his outstanding achievements in numerous successful programs and projects as well as receiving multiple awards.
Mr. Mascetti is a graduate of Cornell University where he earned his Bachelor of Science and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering.
